Terms of Service

Last updated: 4 July 2026

These terms govern your use of uksponsors.com ("the site"), operated by UK Sponsors ("we", "us", "our"). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What this site is

UK Sponsors is an independent directory built on the UK Home Office's public Register of Licensed Sponsors, together with free tools, guides, and articles about UK work visas and sponsorship. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the UK Government, the Home Office, or any government agency.

Not legal or immigration advice

Everything on this site, including search results, calculators, guides, articles, and the glossary, is provided for general information only. It is not legal or immigration advice, and using the site does not create any adviser-client relationship. Immigration rules change frequently and individual circumstances vary. Before acting on anything you read here, check the official guidance on GOV.UK or consult a regulated immigration adviser.

Accuracy of data

Our sponsor database is synchronised with the official register published by the Home Office, and we work hard to keep it current. However, the register itself changes daily, entries can be added or removed at any time, and errors can exist in the source data. We therefore cannot guarantee that any particular entry is accurate, complete, or up-to-date. Always verify an employer's sponsor status against the official register before making decisions that depend on it.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use automated tools to scrape, bulk-download, or overload the site (if you need bulk data, use our CSV downloads or contact us);
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or its infrastructure;
  • use the site or its data to harass, spam, or misrepresent employers listed on the register;
  • resell or republish paid data products without our written permission;
  • use the site in any way that breaks applicable law.

Paid data products

Some data products (such as historical CSV exports) are sold for a fee. Payments are processed by Polar, and your purchase is delivered as a time-limited access link sent to the email address you provide. Because these are digital products delivered immediately, refunds are handled case by case: if something goes wrong with your purchase, email support@uksponsors.com and we will put it right or refund you.

Intellectual property

The underlying register data is public sector information published by the Home Office. The site's original content, including its guides, articles, tools, design, and code, is owned by UK Sponsors. You may link to any page and quote short excerpts with attribution, but you may not copy substantial parts of the site's original content without permission.

Third-party links and services

The site links to external websites (such as GOV.UK) and uses third-party services for payments, analytics, and advertising. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third parties. Adverts shown on the site do not imply our endorsement of the advertised product or service.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the data will be accurate or complete.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from reliance on information on the site, including decisions about employment, visa applications, or sponsorship. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Changes and termination

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the site at any time, and may update these terms by posting a revised version on this page with a new date. Your continued use of the site after a change means the updated terms apply.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
